located for touring the surrounding Peak District National Park. Bakewell on the River Wye and Matlock, with 'Peak Rail' steam trains are both within 5 miles. Chatsworth Park and Haddon Hall are a quiet 2 mile walk from the cottage, whilst even nearer (300 yards) are two very nice inns and local village shops. Carsington Water, 10 miles. Alton Towers is 25 miles.
